Photography Picnic

Bring Your Own Camera picnic welcoming all experience levels of photography, videography, directing, modeling, etc. In a supportive, low-pressure environment, get to connect and collaborate with lovely like-minded creatives.

***Key Activity: Dividing into groups of 5: 1 director, 1 photographer/videographer, 3 models. Rotate so every person gains experience in all different roles both in front and behind the lens.

Dance for Palestine, Sudan, & Congo Relief

To close out the summer we held a rooftop dance party fundraising $1500 towards Congo, Sudan, and Palestine relief.

We hosted some of our favorite DJs in the city and brought different communities together to dance our asses off and raise support for the oppressed.

Transitioned: A Safe Space to Talk About Death

On this warm sunday, we welcomed a free space for open conversations around a topic that is undeniably relevant to us all, yet too often avoided, death.

Through art and through community, each attendee picking and sharing a story about a song that resonates with us in relation to a lost loved one. We openly explored how to communicate with each other, sharing our thoughts and experiences, and celebrating the existence and memories of loved ones who’ve transitioned.

Black History Trivia Night

Interactive mixer w/ prompts to connect with new people, games and competitive trivia celebrating black culture/history. We partnered with Curated By Tony to bring our communities together in honor of Black History Month.

SOS X SEW SESH: MAKE YOUR OWN TOTE BAG

Partnered with @knawtkai and @gracedbygc teaching the community how to sew, how to make your own tote bag from scratch, and DIY customize your own clothes.

Most people had 0 experience using a sewing machine and every single person walked out with their piece completed and ready to wear!

Movie Nights

Hosted a series of movie nights with follow up conversation following themes such as love/romance, identity, childhood. (Pictures from our Love Jones screening series).
